To Order From Doug Care EquipmentThere are several ways to order from Doug Care Equipment.
We are committed to providing you a safe and secure method to transmit your valuable personal data and credit card information. Our shopping cart uses the latest data encryption technology during the checkout process to ensure that your credit card information is safe when using our online ordering system. It utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) which is built into major browsers such as Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox. Working with your browser, Digital Certificate guarantees that the secure server you are giving your credit card number to is who we say they are! SSL is the only way your credit card number is transmitted. Your complete credit card number will never be sent by unsecured e-mail.
Our shopping cart has two different methods of ordering on-line from Doug Care Equipment. Most items have an "Add To Cart" button located next to or near the selected item which will add one of the selected items to the cart. Other items will have a text box next to the item to enter the quantity you desire and an "Add To Cart" button located farther down on the page. Clicking the "Add To Cart" button will automatically add the item (or multiple items on the pages with the text boxes) to your shopping cart and take you to the shopping cart screen. While you are there, you can easily make changes to your cart, such as deleting items or changing the desired quantity. If you want to select another item, press the "Shop More" button to go back to our home page or your "back" button on your browser to go back to the last page you where on. Click the "Complete Order" button to finalize your order.
Checking Your Shopping Cart
You may check the contents of your cart at any time by clicking on the "Check Shopping Cart" link at the far right of the menu bar located at the top of every page. You may then see what you what you have selected for purchase and you will also have the opportunity to change or delete items as needed.
When you are done shopping, just click on the "Complete Order" button at the bottom of the shopping cart screen and all of your purchases will be finalized. You will also receive an email receipt of your order. Our shipping charges are now fairly close but, since we process orders manually after we receive them, we will lower shipping charges where possible. Heavyer items such as machines do NOT have a freight amount programmed into the shopping cart. We will contact you by phone or email to give you the freight amount when necessary.

California Residents Unless you provide us with a current resale certificate, we must charge California sales tax on all orders shipped within the state. If you qualify for resale purchases download our California Resale Certificate, fill it out completely and fax back to 559-539-3077. Our shopping cart figures the tax at 9.00% but we will actually charge the correct county rate for the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Fresno and Tulare. The rest of the state will be charged the state rate ONLY (currently 7.50%) . This means that a shipment to L.A. county is charged 9.00%, Orange county 8.00%, Fresno county 8.225% and so on.
Shipping Charges Most smaller items ship within 1 or 2 days usually by UPS. It can take longer if an item is out of stock. UPS ground can take up to 5 business days to reach you depending on your location and where the item is shipping from. You can choose a faster method of shipping, if desired, while checking out. Most larger machines ship LTL truck. Our shopping cart will not figure the truck freight but we will get back to you with shipping options and costs. Let us know in the comment box if you need special truck services such as a lift gate or residential delivery. We will contact you before we process your order to give you the correct freight amount.
